Plate glass (even safety or tempered glass) and mirrors will break during an earthquake or from vandalism. The particles can cause eye injury and the debris can make passage difficult and dangerous.



4-mil safety film is applied so that in the event the glass breaks all the shards and fragments are held in place. QuakeProof Inc. can install safety film in either clear or tinted.

Safety film is normally applied on the interior glass of a building. On occasions where access to that interior glass is not possible, it can be installed on the exterior surface.
