The height and weight of items stored on shelves as well as the frequency of need to access will determine the best contents containment system to be used. Among the methods of containment are library bars, etc.
Nylon straps or custom webbing can be used to contain shelf contents. Either is permanently bolted into place. Eye hooks and safety clasps allow easy removal of items. Visual access is also maintained. Manufacturers donot recommend containment devices that exceed six feet. Therefore custom dividers may be required.
It is important that the method decided upon is the least disruptive to the workflow and can easily be
adapted to by those needing access to the contents.
